Well, 3:44, to be precise, but I had to steal a line from Matchbox Twenty.
If I'm lonely, it's because people aren't supposed to be up at 3 a.m. coughing their lungs out and wishing that Claritin D suddenly came in a new SUPERSIZE edition.
This allergy season has been hell on wheels. I'm afflicted with allergies, but usually with the exception of a week or so in the spring and fall, I'm not overcome. I am this time. I am wondering what is planted in our beautiful yard that I am deathly allergic to. Perhaps God is playing some sort of sick joke on me ("You love this house, but it doesn't love YOU"). Just kidding, but this is really whack, as Whitney Houston would say about crack.
The lack of posting in the last week was due to a) getting ready for the trip and b) being on the trip. I have some pics of Lake Tahoe and my obsession, I just have to quit coughing long enough to download them. And try to be awake enough to go to work tomorrow...I mean today.
All is well, Big Bit looks wonderful and well, of course Rick Springfield did too. Now, if only Heather would see him in the airport again to complete my happy weekend. However, since she's either about to give birth or already has, I'm sure this time Rick was on his own. Especially since he wasn't within 400 miles of Salt Lake City. Neither was I. Bliss.

I hear you on the allergies.
And how do the Claritin scientist know how to make that stuff wear off in exactly 12 hours and not one minute longer? Geniuses, I tell you, geniuses.
Aaaahhhkkkk. I am beset by allergies myself, and since I am older I will warn you, it just gets worse. Here's to your health.
In Seattle the last 3 days it seriously looks like it is snowing most of the day because of cottonwood trees. I just thank my lucky stars I don't have any allergies (yet). Hope the heat wave kills the plant you are allergic to and you can get back to enjoying summer in Idaho.
t2ed - geniuses, indeed. But when I end up taking them early in the morning, it would be nice if they'd give a few hours for free on the weekend.
Cele - exactly what I did NOT want to hear, but was afraid was true. They do seem to be getting worse as I get older.
D - TH would be dying then. Cottonwoods are the one thing that really get him. I hope you never get allergies - they suck! Keeping hopes of a heat wave up over here.
