Little Bit is in Cub Scouts (the "diversity" in his troop, him being non-LDS, it's been interesting so far) and this is our first experience with the Pinewood Derby. We're sure that, him having done most of this work on his own with supervision by Dad that he is going to get his butt kicked by the superenthusiast dads and Scouts, but he's pretty proud of it nonetheless.

I remember the pinewood derby days. Oy. Love the cool look of the car you posted a pic of! So cool.
I hear there's some funny movie you can buy at Deseret Books that's about an an obsessive Dad and poor Scout and the Pinewood Derby.
Haven't had a chance to check it out yet, but we plan on trying to find it, as Hubby's LDS co-worker says it's true to form.
